The Córdoba Exhibition, Trade Fair and Convention Centre (CEFC) is one of the most modern and versatile venues for trade fairs and congresses in Spain. It began operations in October 2022 and is managed by Córdoba City Council. It was created to provide the city with a larger, multifunctional and functional space capable of hosting congress and trade fair activities in all their dimensions
The main exhibition area -a 4,688.69 m2 open-plan space that can be configured into up to 16 different formats with a modular system of panels and grandstands- allows for hosting congresses, fairs, conventions, presentations and all types of events, from a small meeting to a congress for 2,500 people or a commercial exhibition for 5,000.
The geometric facade, a latticework with 6,000 windows inspired by Hispano-Arabic designs, provides an image of robustness and a marked institutional character, while referencing the mobile and changing nature of the center's content.
The promotion of the CEFC is aligned with the objectives of Agenda Córdoba, the city's Strategic Plan, whose main pillars include boosting the city's image and its capacity to host large events, leveraging new infrastructures and its tourist appeal.
Four UNESCO World Heritage designations, a wide cultural and gastronomic offering, its strategic location and an excellent communications network, which connects it by High-Speed train with Madrid, Seville, Malaga, Granada, Zaragoza, Barcelona and Valencia, make Córdoba one of the best congress destinations in the country.

A spacious and open-plan space
The Córdoba Exhibition, Trade Fair and Convention Centre is a spacious and open-plan venue, designed to ensure accessibility for everyone. From the main entrance, located at ground level, visitors can access the main hall without any architectural barriers. All levels are connected by lifts, including the underground car park, which also has reserved spaces for people with reduced mobility. The interior signage (rooms, toilets) is available in Braille, and the flooring includes tactile paving and guidance paths

We generate our own energy
The Córdoba Exhibition, Trade Fair and Convention Centre is an efficient building that generates its own energy, meeting its own electricity consumption needs. The building is equipped with a photovoltaic panel installation and dedicated generators for the production of domestic hot water
Combining aesthetics and sustainability, its spectacular facade, with a lattice and skylight pattern inspired by the geometric interlacing of Córdoba's monuments, provides greater solar protection and better thermal insulation, while supplying natural light to the building's interior. The movable panels and the textured-finish ceiling, which divide the main space, acoustically and thermally insulate the different rooms, while helping to control the reverberation time.
The building's lighting features skylights that, depending on the needs of each activity, allow natural light to enter through openings at the top of the building. In addition to this feature, the central exhibition area offers three lighting tones based on zone-specific requirements.
