The Córdoba Exhibition, Fair and Convention Centre is an efficient building that generates its own energy, self-sufficient in its electricity consumption needs. The building has an installation of photovoltaic panels and specific generators for the production of hot water for sanitary use.

Combining aesthetics and sustainability, its spectacular façade, with a network of lattices and skylights inspired by the latticework of Cordoba monuments, provides greater solar protection and better thermal insulation, while supplying natural light to the interior of the building. The mobile panels and the textured ceiling, which divide the main space, acoustically and thermally isolate the different rooms, while helping to control the reverberation time.

The building's lighting has skylights that, depending on the needs of each activity, allow natural light to enter through openings in the upper part of the building. In addition to this possibility, the central exhibition area has three lighting tones depending on the needs divided into sectors by area.

In relation to air conditioning, the system allows spaces to be divided and air-conditioned depending on their use.
